I may not have agreed with the way you presented each topic, some of your motives, or how you encouraged heated debates, but I appreciate and respect the passion and effort you were willing to put forth in the Granville Press, for the local seniors, for the school and especially for your family. Thank you and bless you.

Well, the time is upon us.
In some ways it seems like it was only yesterday, but it is to be a year; a year in which scarcely a day has passed that I have not thought of Jack. He has given me many chuckles over the past year when something would happen which would remind me of how he would have joked about the situation.
Jack will forever be a special part of our lives.

Jack and I never did agree on alot of local issues. And didn’t know each other well at all. But we did agree on some local issues. And we had a few moments. Once on the phone and once on a plane on the way back from Massachusetts. He was coming back from a family adventure in England and I was coming back from a really boring business trip. We talked about…planes….on that plane; he had talked to a pilot who said flying one of those 50 seaters was like flying a fighter. And we talked about how well "development" was controlled in MA especially around the Cape Ann area and a little bit south, on the phone at a later time. He had asked me to run for council. But I don’t have the concentration or patience under normal circumstances for that. He was a very intelligent, thoughtful and resourceful individual who accomplished way more in so many spheres than I can ever imagine doing. I share your sentiments Dan. God grant him repose.
